Flanagan has been working at ESPN since 2000. She reported for ESPN from the stands of college football matches from 2000 until the year 2006. She covered college football sidelines for five years reporting on events like the College World Series Women's Tennis Association's Championships Basketball Men's College and NCAA Women's tournament. Flanagan reported on Lakers Dodgers Angels UCLA USC Chargers and Dodgers as an SportsCenter reporter. She covered the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament, college football bowls games and the spring training of the NBA. Her job for ESPN included launching a SportsCenter segment that focuses on entertainment called Hollywood Highlights. Additionally, she hosted and was host for both the Home Depot College Football Awards and ESPN Classic roadshows.
