Gail Ann O'Grady is an American actress and producer who has worked in the television industry from the age of 58. She is best known for her performances as Donna Abandando on the ABC drama NYPD Blue, and Helen Pryor on her role on the NBC series American Dreams. O'Grady is also well known for her leading roles in various television series. She has been nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award three times. O'Grady was married seven times. After breaking up with artist Robert Claypool she sought a restraining order against him in 1995. Gail states that she stalked him but was not granted an order.
