Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin, a Canadian-New Zealander actor. Paquin was born in Winnipeg, raised in Wellington and made her stage debut as Flora McGrath when she played the character as Flora in The Piano. She won an Academy Award at the age of 11 for Best Supporting Actress. Anna Paquin spelled out Anna Helene Paquin was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada on July 24,1982. The Canadian born actress is also a New Zealander actress. In 1993, she received her first Academy Award at age 11 as the curious and talkative daughter that was Holly Hunter who played the main character. Paquin was Frankie Addams in a 1997 film adaptation for television of Carson McCullers's novel The Member of the Wedding and had a minor role as Queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (1997). She played teenagers on Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000) as well as A Walk on the Moon (2000). She portrayed her character groupie Polexia Aphrodisa in Almost Famous (2000).
