Paula Patton, an American actor and producer, is known for her roles as the main character in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol (an action spy thriller) and Precious (a drama). When she was a child she was raised in a Los Angeles middle-class household. Her mother was a movie fan and was a constant source of encouragement to her love for movies as a young person. Paula took part in numerous co-curricular activities in school, but she had a particular interest in dramatics. Paula was a fantastic actor and loved performing with her friends. She performed in numerous high school plays at Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and decided to take up acting as a profession. She was enrolled at the University of Southern California in the summer program, and loved her time there. The program gave her a three month project to create documentaries for PBS. When she finished the assignment in three months the first task was in the field of production of television documentaries. Then she moved on to producing documentaries. Even though she loved her work but she was always wishing for being an actor. Her career began in acting by playing Will Smith's co-star in romantic comedy Hitch. In the years since she's appeared in numerous productions and films.
